FAO Schwarz came to Midnight Oil, our LA-based experiential out-of-home agency, to produce the holiday window campaign promoting Sing 2 for the brand’s prestigious Manhattan location.

Creation, delivery, and installation all needed to happen flawlessly amid a rise in COVID-19 cases and global supply chain challenges.


We secured high-quality materials to create a mix of 2D and 3D characters and images for a takeover of 11 large-scale windows as well as the iconic FAO Schwarz Piano Room.

The 3D characters were hand-painted and mounted onto foam, and the hand-painted title treatment used clear plexi-glass.


We delivered the high-quality campaign on time and left the client saying:
